Plesna izba Maribor, Društvo za sodobni ples Slovenije (DSPS), Gibanica 2016, MKC, Prvi oder, Prva Gimnazija Maribor
Moderatorka: Mojca Kasjak

Ali so res oblike formalnih izobraževanj  v družbi in s številnimi dokazili o zaključkih le-tega še vedno  veliko bolj priznane, ker ponujajo bolj strokovno preverjene in kvalitetnejše vzgojno-izobraževalnih pristope?

Gostje:

Minka Veselič Kološa, ustanoviteljica celoletnega plesnega izobraževanja pri Plesni izbi Maribor (leta 1987 – septembra bo 30 let), strokovna svetovalka za ples pri JSKD

Organised in cooperation with Contemporary Dance Association Slovenia (Gibanica 2016), the discussion will centre on different forms of education in the area of contemporary dance and performance art. Movement is the primary element of theatrical landscape; it is relied upon in traditional and experimental theatre as it is in performative practices. Contemporary dance is not institutionalised in Slovenia, whereas theatre is. Dance education takes place predominantly in non-formal settings, which are more or less planned, organised and systematically framed. Is formal education with all its diplomas and certificates still appreciated more in the society, since it supposedly offers educational methods of greater quality and expertise? Do these forms of education develop individual qualities? What is the meaning of learning in non-formal settings? Is it possible, and if yes how, to connect formal and non-formal educational programmes in the area of contemporary dance and performance art at home and abroad.

Guests:

  •  Minka Veselič Kološa, Founder of all-year-round dance education at Plesna Izba Maribor (30th anniversary in September 2016)
  •  Magdalena Reiter, Graduate of National Ballet School in Gdansk (Poland) and PARTS in Brussels (Belgium); initiator, organiser and teacher at VIBRA International Summer Dance Workshops in Ljubljana and initiator of MOVE! – daily professional contemporary dance classes in Ljubljana

16:00    Mateja Bučar - Zelena miza / urbana koreografija

Mateja Bučar - Green Table / urban choreography

            Center mesta

The title Green Table has been borrowed by this work from groundbreaking historical choreographer Kurt Jooss in 1932, when he choreographically put the timeless and impersonal trading of war and its profits on the great green table of diplomacy in the 20th century.
We, however, are interested in the small urban everyday, with its coffee tables at markets, on sidewalks, and in the cafes and coffee shops of today’s world.

20:00    Darko Dragičević, Jasmina Založnik - Jecljam z veseljem

Darko Dragičević, Jasmina Založnik - I Stutter with Joy

Koncept in izvedba: Darko Dragičević, Jasmina Založnik
Koreografija: Martin Sonderkamp
Zvočno oblikovanje: Ivan Mijačević
Oblikovanje luči: David Orešič
Produkcija: MKC Maribor in Plesna Izba Maribor
Koprodukcija: ZAIK, JSKD, Hostel pekarna
S podporo: Ministrstvo za kulturo RS, MOM

Leta 2015 je prejela nagrado Ksenije Hribar v kategoriji kritičarka/piska/dramaturginja.

The notion of stutter as a structural nucleus buds the performance I Stutter with Joy with an attempt to question its possible translation and transformation into various 'artistic' fields. Understanding it as an interruption and disruption in the communication, which is mainly hindering it, stuttering is at the same time an offering, occurring exactly in the frozen moment of a potentiality in which something new could emerge.
