V sklopu Tedna parade ponosa v soboto, 17. oktobra 2020, vabimo na ogled razstave “Zgodbe o ljubezni in ponosu” avtorice Hristine Hristove - Kiki, prostovoljka ESC iz Severne Makedonije. Razstava bo na ogled pred dvorano Gustaf v Kulturnem centru Pekarna.
O avtorici
Avtorica razstave je fotografinja Hristina Hristova - Kiki, prostovoljka ESC iz Severne Makedonije. Stara je 28 let, s fotogafijo se ukvarja amatersko. Fotografirati je začela pred tremi leti, večinoma s poudarkom na portretni fotografiji. Njeni interesi vključujejo fotografiranje aktivizma in to je že druga razstava na to temo. Njena prva fotografska razstava je bila v Skopju v Severni Makedoniji v okviru kampanje "16 dni proti nasilju na podlagi spola".
Druga razstava, razstava na katero te vabimo, se imenuje "Zgodbe o ljubezni in ponosu", osebni projekt, ki se je začel januarja v okviru prostovoljne službe ESE v Društvu DIH. Fotografinjina ideja, ki stoji za to razstavo, je pripovedovanje zgodb ljudi, poslati surovo, osebno, intimno sporočilo. Cilj razstave je tudi povečati prepoznavnost LGBTQ + skupnosti v Sloveniji, obstoja, edinstvenosti, svobode izražanja in boj proti obstoječim stereotipom o LGBTQ + identitetah.
About the author
The photographer is Hristina Hristova - Kiki, ESC volunteer from North Macedonia. She is 28 years old and an amateur photographer in progress. She started doing photography 3 years ago, mostly focusing on portrait photography. Her interests involve activism photography and this is her second exhibition in the field. Her first photography exhibition was held in Skopje, North Macedonia, as part of the campaign “16 days against gender based violence” .
This, second exhibition, is called “Stories of love and pride” , a personal project that started in January as part of the ESC volunteering service in Društvo DIH. The photographers' idea behind this exhibition is to retell peoples' stories, send the raw, personal, intimate message of their own story through photos. The aim this exhibition is also to raise visibility of the LGBTQ+ community in Slovenia, the existence, uniqueness, freedom of expression and fight against the existing stereotypes about the LGBTQ+ identities.
